Before, high-tech GPS equipment, sailors often charted difficult courses to unknown destinations through rough seas, inclement weather and untold obstacles using only their skill, experience and sure determination.
When it comes to financial issues, people today often feel like those old-time sailors – leaving port by themselves without clear direction as to how they will get to their destination or what obstacles they might encounter. However, with the speed and complexity at which the financial world moves today it is not advisable for you to navigate the ever changing economic landscape alone.
For those of wealth, whose financial needs are more complex and sophisticated, it is even more imperative that you have someone who knows the way. That’s where Newport Advisory comes in. We work with our clients and their advisors to navigate where they are going and to develop a course that will establish a clear destination that will ensure that you avoid the obstacles and irrevocable results of navigating these rough seas on your own.
We are well suited to share this journey with you. With over 20 years of experience, like those seasoned sailors, we have the skills and experience to navigate on our know-how alone. But unlike those old sailors, we have a wealth of modern tools and technology to help us help you. We take full advantage of all of these skills, tools and technology to ensure that course we chart is the best for your specific journey.
Our firm’s origins date back to 1984, although formal operation as Newport Advisory began in 1999. The firm was established by James W. Regitz, Jr.,ChFC, whom has over two decades of financial planning, estate planning and investment management experience.
